How to turn a voice note into text

Step by step

  1. Choose the voice note or audio file: WhatsApp .opus or .ogg, .m4a, .mp3, .wav or .aac all work.
  2. Set the spoken language. Picking it yourself is more accurate than letting the tool guess, especially for Urdu and Hindi.
  3. Choose whether you want the text in the same language or translated to English, then press Turn into text.
  4. Copy the text or download it as a .txt file. For Urdu you can switch to Roman Urdu in one tap.
