How to do it
- Open the Caption studio and add your video or audio file.
- Pick the spoken language and let the AI transcribe it.
- Read through the lines and fix names, numbers and slang.
- Choose Export, then download SRT or VTT.

- YouTube: Studio, Subtitles, Add language, Upload file, With timing.
- Premiere Pro: File, Import, then drag the SRT onto a captions track.
- DaVinci Resolve: File, Import, Subtitle.
- Vimeo and LinkedIn: upload the file in the video settings.
SRT or VTT?
SRT works almost everywhere. VTT is the web standard and also supports simple styling. If you are not sure, download SRT.

Captions keep them watching.Each block has a number, a start and end time, and the text. Because it is plain text, you can open and edit it in any text editor.
Good subtitle habits
- Keep lines under about 42 characters and two lines per subtitle.
- Show each subtitle for at least one second.
- Break lines at natural pauses, not in the middle of a name.
- Save as UTF-8 so accents and non-Latin scripts show correctly.
